The Paper Boats are Coming

Paper Boats
By Robert

Recently we made paper boats for school. We made one large one and decorated it with dictionary pages cut into shapes, swirls, lines, and other fantastic designs. After these were finished, we made a smaller paper boat as the "life boat," with it attached to the bigger boat. These small boats were made out of a single dictionary page. At first, everyone was having trouble making their boats, but as they tried more and more, we all completed them. Taylor even made a few tiny boats that he put inside his biggest boat. We made these boats to send to another blogger in Scotland who takes pictures of the boats and puts them on her blog.

Physics lab at UCLA

By Kyle

It started eating lunch in a nice garden at UCLA, but when I entered the physics lab my mind started asking a million questions all at once. What made the globe float in mid air with nothing holding it up? What made your hair stand on end when you touched that iron ball?  What made the five metronomes start ticking in sink? Now I know thanks to the time and effort of our friend Gueorgui, a man how works at the lab. I had an indescribable amount of fun and I hope to return as soon as possible.
