Going the Extra Mile

We have been reading city poetry, collecting city words and phrases, and, two weeks ago began to share the original work that sprung from our exploration. While many of the poems were wonderful—watch for them in Reveal: Messenger later this month, a handful of my writers went the extra mile, not just fulfilling an assignment, but creating original works that communicate the heart of what they discovered.
